BEREGOVO

Bere­go­vo is a cozy Tran­scarpathi­an town near the bor­der with Hun­gary. The resort of Bere­go­vo is famous for its springs and pools with ther­mal waters. You can swim in them all year round. Tran­scarpathi­an hydro­gen sul­fide ther­mal water is extreme­ly use­ful and heal­ing.

It con­tains a lot of iron, sodi­um, potas­si­um, iodine and flu­o­rine. Only 4 places around the globe can boast exact­ly the same com­po­si­tion: Ice­land, New Zealand, the Kuril Islands and the Ukrain­ian Bere­hove. The min­er­al­iza­tion of water is 24%.

COSINO

In the vil­lage of Kosi­no, Bere­go­vo dis­trict, there is anoth­er health-improv­ing and recre­ation­al com­plex “Ther­mal Waters of Kosi­no”. The ther­mal waters of Kosi­no are unique in their chem­i­cal com­po­si­tion not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe. Kosi­no is sec­ond only to the world-famous ther­mal spas in Hun­gary.

Ther­mal springs Kosi­no chlo­ride-sodi­um medi­um min­er­al­iza­tion. Water has a tem­per­a­ture of 60–80 ° C and is ide­al for the treat­ment of dis­eases and injuries of the mus­cu­loskele­tal sys­tem, as well as ner­vous, skin, car­dio­vas­cu­lar dis­eases. In addi­tion, the Kosi­no ther­mal waters suc­cess­ful­ly remove salts from the kid­neys.

MUKACHEVO

Mukache­vo region is famous for its sul­fide ther­mal waters. In the city itself, in the health-improv­ing com­plex “Latorit­sa”, a pool with heal­ing ther­mal water is open. The water tem­per­a­ture here is 35 °C. The sana­to­ri­um treats dis­eases of the skin and the car­dio­vas­cu­lar sys­tem.

GIANT

In the vil­lage of Vely­ati­no, Khust dis­trict, there is anoth­er heal­ing dis­pen­sary “Warm Waters”. Its ther­mal waters are rich in bromine and iodine. Bromine is known to have a calm­ing effect. Nat­u­ral­ly, the water here has a tem­per­a­ture of 40–60 ° C, but before use it is cooled to 30–38 ° C. This resort treats dis­eases of the mus­cu­loskele­tal sys­tem, res­pi­ra­to­ry organs, car­dio­vas­cu­lar and ner­vous sys­tems.

LONG

In the vil­lage of Dol­goe, Irshavsky Dis­trict, there is one of the largest ther­mal deposits with numer­ous branch­es in near­by vil­lages. These methane-iodine-bromine waters are unique. They are used exter­nal­ly in the form of baths in the sana­to­ri­um “Borzha­va” for the treat­ment of car­dio­vas­cu­lar dis­eases, organs of the mus­cu­loskele­tal sys­tem.
