In Paris, according to the master plan for the development of the subway, until 2019. 6 metro stations will be put into operation. One of these stations will be named after the outstanding poet, composer, songwriter, actor and director Serge Gainsbourg.
The city hall decided to honor the memory of the famous Parisian in this way, who would have turned 85 this year. Serge Gainsbourg, and by birth Lucien Ginzburg, was not only an excellent chansonnier, although it was the song Poinçonneur des Lilas that prompted the name Gainsbourg to be given to the metro station located in the commune of Le Lila, to which, in fact, the composition is dedicated, by the actor and director, but and a responsible and caring citizen of his country.
The famous Parisian subway will become even more convenient, interesting and extended, six new stations will extend the eleventh metro line from the Mary de Lila stop to the eastern suburb of Paris, Rosny-sous-Bois.
