More than 190 nationalities live on the territory of Russia. Unfortunately, few will be able to name at least ten of them. This situation inspired Ivan Chuikov to take part in the new travel show Nationality.ru. For several months now, the presenter has been traveling around the country, showing it from various angles. “Our main characters are representatives of various nationalities that inhabit Russia. Some of them belong to minorities. For example, Teleuts. They live in the southern regions of the Kemerovo region, now there are just over 2,500 of them.”
“Some nationalities in the Caucasus, for example, do not have the usual expression “I love you.” Instead, they say here “I can see you well.” And in Siberia, residents continue to practice shamanism”
“We are very different until we get to know each other. And when we find out, we understand that we have a lot in common.
“We live in the same country and we all want to be happy.”
